This 7000 BHP Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS) is purpose-built to support offshore oil & gas, marine construction, towing, anchor handling, and platform maintenance operations. Built in 2006 by Bharati Shipyard Ltd., India, the vessel is classed by IRS and features Dynamic Positioning Class 2 (DP-2) together with FiFi-1 firefighting capability, ensuring reliable performance across a wide range of offshore missions.
Powered by two Rolls Royce Bergen C25/33L9P main engines producing a combined output of 7000 BHP, the vessel develops an 80-ton bollard pull while maintaining excellent maneuverability through controllable pitch propellers and bow & stern thrusters.
The vessel offers approximately 420 m² deck area with 900 MT deck cargo capacity, making it ideal for transporting offshore equipment, pipes, containers, anchors, and project materials. Accommodation for 39 personnel, hospital facilities, modern navigation systems, advanced communication equipment, and comprehensive safety systems further enhance its operational capability.
